I am in love with this blog! Seriously. Love it.
I just stumbled upon this blog! SO GREAT! Keep it coming!
personified vegetables and veganism i LOVE this blog
AMAZING. keep it comin. i am both vegan and, of course, a stoner.
This is the greatest thing ever. Thank you thank you thank you.
I found your blog through stumbleUpon...I LOVE the concept and the creativity. The pictures and drawings are great!
I am a vegetarian stoner and you might have just inspired me to become a vegan one. Love your blog so much. Best part of my day.
you're an artistic genius! please continue to inspire my stomach and eyes.
Sweet as! I too StumbledUpon this and am totally in love!
C'mon! Veganism is not only about avoiding animal products... It's about living integrally and close to nature... And canned beans and packed salad are hardly natural... You can do better than that!
Hi Anonymous —We agree, however we intend to provide base recipes that are fast and cheap to make, as well as open-ended to promote creativity. We encourage people to substitute, exclude, and add the ingredients they prefer. We find that many new vegans find involved recipes and soaking beans intimidating. So we take recipes and simplify them.
I'd like to respectfully disagree with Anonymous. (But I'm not starting an argument, cuz I'll probably never check this comment section again.) This looks like a great salad and there are a lot of different routes you can go with it. For some of us, it's a quick DIY meal or a quick Subway run. If you do have more time, substitute snap peas and real artichoke hearts.Besides, most vegan cookbooks I pick up call for some pricey vegan replacement product in every recipe. This is refreshing.
I'm a vegetarian stoner, also happen to be lactose-intolerant. This blog MADE MY LIFE! It's so hard to find delish, fast vegan foood when your baked. <3
I made this last night for my hubby and myself. We both loved it. I used balsamic vinegar. Vegan Stoner, please don`t be discouraged by purist commenters. A vegan diet done imperfectly still blesses the earth, animals, and your health.
I can't believe no one said anything about the extra virgin nun, haha.
omg, this blog gets better and better! I have toyed with vegan but have never gone full fledged, this blog makes it doable...love it son, love it!
My new favorite food blog. My kitchen is full of decorations featuring vegetables with faces, the more stoned looking the better. <3
We read every comment (except spam) and try to respond to direct questions within a week. If we take longer, it is probably because you suggested something for the recipe or posed a problem, and we are re-making the recipe to double check its effectiveness. Thanks for the comments, and happy cooking! —The Vegan Stoner
