Ooh, this looks like a fun little project! Looking forward to trying it.Also, I'm not sure if I've commented on this blog yet before, but this blog is really, REALLY adorable. I love it!
I wish I knew where to find agar!
I didn't know there was a vegan jello substitute! My life just got a whole lot better.
What an interesting recipe. Love your site!
Agar can be found in most health food stores and some Asian groceries. I've even found it at Meijer in the international foods section.I'm looking forward to trying this, as I usually prefer water-rich, sweet munchies, rather than greasy or salty ones. :)
found your blog from the Disarray article - you two are super neat! i've been vegan for 10 years but never have i made agar agar jello! your blog design & images are just groovy, so keep on, keep on! thanks for doing this project.
this looks delicious. if you post a pie recipe, i'll cry with happiness. i'm so lazy.
You can even get Agar Agar at Whole Foods in the Asain food section. There are other jello like or thinking agents that are vegan look at The Artful Vegan or The Millennium Restaurant Cookbook for ideas.
i love these posts!! I'm recently vegan and these help so much!
I love you site!
I'm itching for a new post from you guys!
This is a great recipe! I tried it with coconut milk instead of soymilk, and I added a few spoonsful of sugar to satisfy my rampant sweet tooth. Served it with mandarin oranges and lychees... Yum!! A Japanese friend told me that her grandmother made something like this and served it with sweet adzuki beans! Thanks so much for the great idea. I will be returning to this site :)
