We made frappes from this recipe this morning! Well, my hubby made them. They are VERY delicious. It is also very rich, so one serving is probably enough for two people. Yum! Thanks for a great recipe!

How much is a spoonful?

A spoonful of whatever spoon you have in your hand at the moment. We are firm believers in eyeballing when cooking. If you really need to be exact well I'd say a spoonful is around a tablespoon.

Again, use less or more depending on how your taste buds are feeling.

This blog is fantastic! Do you think almond milk would work instead of coconut milk? I want to make this for my family but none of us are huge fans of coconut milk. :\

Coconut milk is thicker so it helps form the frappe's consistency. You can try almond milk, but it may make the consistency more watery.

Try hemp milk or soy ice cream may help to thicken it up a bit too.

I just made this with rice milk, and it turned out a little watery, but still delicious!

I had only cream of coconut, not coconut milk, so I mixed that with soymilk and it was great! I should lessen the coconut part of the ratio next time, as cream of coconut is incredibly strong...Anyway, I also added a sprinkle of powdered cloves on top. Yummm!
